Centralised feedback collection system for companies worldwide

Summary: Many users struggle to find appropriate channels to submit feedback about products, leading to ignored concerns. This platform simplifies feedback submission and synthesizes insights into reports for companies, effectively bridging the gap between customers and businesses while offering tiered insights.

Create a one-stop place where anyone can provide feedback on any company. The enterprise behind this company would synthesise all the feedback it gets and share comprehensive reports with the companies. Companies would readily pay you for these synthesised reports if your reports offer good insights (which they probably will if you synthesised the feedback well).

We use hundreds of different softwares, tools, online services each week. When there’s a bug, a software limitation, or a feature request, we don’t really know where to share it – it’s usually too much of a hassle to look for the contact forms on each website (and often, feedback submissions here are ignored). So we don’t end up submitting those comments.

Through this online platform (could be named givefeedback.com or something), anyone can submit feedback on anything – you specify what company/product you’re giving feedback to and you just give the feedback.

Periodically, your company would categorize all the submissions they get via the website, synthesise it into informative reports (possibly using customised AI tools), and share them with the companies. They could charge the companies some fee for it. You don’t have to do the synthesis yourself - you can tie up with a company like Canny or Inari. The companies would readily pay good prices for something like this because the reports would offer a valuable amount of insight. There could be different tiers for the report (each at different prices): for example, basic tier could be just raw feedback; middle tier could be raw feedback + synthesis, upper tier could add recommend issue prioritisation, further research, and cost benefit analysis etc to it.

This is good for customers – whose concerns get heard. This is also good for businesses – they get a lot of valuable feedback and synthesised. There’s scope for monopoly to be created here too. As the platform grows, more and more people would use it to share their feedback for products instead of using the companies’ own channels (if they exist at all).

If there’s a concern about spam, one can mitigate that easily by disabling copy paste in that feedback box (and instead requiring people to type their feedback).
