Celebrity Q&As Driven by Fans and Enhanced by AI

Celebrity Q&As Driven by Fans and Enhanced by AI

Summary: This idea addresses the desire for genuine interaction between fans and celebrities by allowing fans to submit and vote on questions. Celebrities answer selected questions, creating engaging content while leveraging AI for organization and aesthetic presentation, fostering connection and potential monetization.

This idea combines the current popularity of interviews with famous people and the need for a genuine connection between influencers and fans from both sides.

In short, it works like this: fans submit questions for their favorite celebrities/influencers/interesting people, who then answer them and an interview is created which can be circulated.

The whole process:

  1. Somebody famous starts accepting questions in the app. They share about it on their social media.
  2. Their fans hear about the app and about the possibility to ask their favorite celebrity a question. They also know it's legit as the celebrity is the one who shared it. The fans start submitting questions and voting for others' questions. The questions are sorted by their number of upvotes.
  3. After a certain period the accepting of questions stops.
  4. AI then potentially filters out inappropriate questions and spam, according to the celebrity's settings.
  5. The celebrity looks at the questions sorted from the most liked and highest quality ones and answers whatever they want to. They can answer also using a photo or a video. When they are done, they click “done”.
  6. AI changes the order of the questions/answers to respect the questions’ topics. A special page with an interview is created in the app. It contains a beginning, ending, photos, titles… It is visually appealing, which is done mostly with AI.
  7. The celebrity shares a link to the interview on their social media. Their fans hear about the app for a second time.
  8. They can read the interview now or find it later in the app by searching or browsing categories of celebrities.

Monetization ideas:

  • Buying upvotes for question highlighting. Part of money goes to the app owner, part goes to the celebrity. All money can be also directed to a charity. Accepting money can be turned off. The celebrity doesn't have to answer these paid questions but I think they should see amount of money paid, which can motivate them to answering.
  • Commercial questions. A database of questions from advertisers, each with a desired answer. The influencers choose a question, answer honestly with the required answer. This question and answer is added to the interview. The app and the celebrity again share the money, this time from the advertiser, probably paid for a unique view of the interview.

Additional thoughts

  • The app could be scaled into a social network: stream, notifications, profiles, following people for questions they asked, following questions to get the answer once it is published, subscribing to a certain kind of celebrities (youtubers, rock singers, NBA players, etc). There might be also users organizing interviews that can be followed.
  • Thanks to today's AI possibilities, the final interview can have a form of a podcast or a video.
  • Really easy to get users: their favorite influencers will share this app at least twice and using it will lead to communicating with them. The app is inherently viral.
